Making Your Home All it was Meant to Be

Overview

A home can be many things. Using the analogy of a school, hospital, mission, and church you will examine how you can love God with all your heart in the presence of your kids and love your kids with all your heart. If your stage of life doesn’t involve parenting, you can still apply the truth and equipping found in these units to make your home and life gospel-centered as you seek to serve and love others. 

In this Journey Section you will:

• Consider that you are the primary teacher of your kids
• Learn to distill the Word of God into “bite-sized” values
• Think of your home as a hospital where the broken can be cared for
• Consider your home as a mission that exists to serve the needs of others
• Discuss how your home is like a church where growth and grace abound

Randy Pope is the founding pastor of Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, Georgia. He is in his 53rd consecutive year of discipling a few men. His personal passion and commitment is to make and train disciples of Christ.
