This module unpacks why the gospel is truly good news—inviting us into a life of grace, faith, and deeper relationship with God. You’ll explore the Bible’s unified story, its unique authority, and the gift of grace through Christ. Prayer becomes more than ritual as we learn to bring our hearts to God, trusting Him to shape our desires. You’ll also reflect on your worldview and how it shapes your faith and life.

In this Journey Section, you will:

Dr. Bryan Chapell, Ph.D. is Pastor Emeritus of the historic Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Peoria, IL and he is also President Emeritus of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. His preaching and teaching are broadcast in many nations and are also available at www.bryanchapell.com. He is the author of many books, including Grace at Work, Unlimited Grace, Each for the Other, Holiness by Grace, Praying Backwards, The Gospel According to Daniel, The Hardest Sermons You’ll Ever Have to Preach, and Christ-Centered Preaching, a preaching textbook now in multiple editions and many languages that has established him as one of this generation’s foremost teachers of homiletics. He and his wife, Kathy, have four adult children, a growing number of grandchildren, and they enjoy the blessings of many friends, fishing, and faith.
