Overview

We must constantly keep the mission and purpose of the church in view. Experiences may vary, but no matter how missional churches long to be, the tendency drifts toward church activities and programs – and not enough on the mission the Lord has called us to in being the salt of the earth and the light of the world. This unit calls us back to the priority of loving others the way Jesus did and engaging those He has put in our lives.

In this Journey Section you will:

Be challenged to pray for your neighbors and depend upon the Lord
Begin to see those around you as Jesus does
Discover ways to serve your neighbors
Discuss ways to build relationships with your neighbors
Be challenged to engage your neighbors with the good news of Jesus
